Our programs are held on beautiful camp grounds, offering premium facilities, gourmet meals, and stunning scenery - designed for maximum fun, comfort, and safety.

Our Middle School program is held at our stunning camp deep in the Angeles National Forest, 60 miles north of LAX (Los Angeles Airport).
Our High School & College program is held at our a state-of-the-art 143 acre camp facility in Waterford, Ontario, 80 miles west of YYZ (Toronto Pearson Airport).

AM I ELIGIBLE? HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO ATTEND?

The Summit is designed for youth ages 11-23. We offer 4 programs: the LegacyBuilder program is for middle school students; the GameChanger program is for high school students; the Trendsetter program is for high school students attending the Summit for the second time; the Groundbreaker program is for high school graduates ages 18-23. Anyone from anywhere can apply to attend the Summit, and our current alumni network is spread across 6 continents.

WHAT IS THE #1 THING YOU LOOK FOR IN APPLICATIONS?

A willingness to learn, an eagerness to grow, and a unique perspective to share.

WHAT DO ACCOMMODATIONS LOOK LIKE?

A variety of cottage-style cabins and dormitories make up the accommodations, separated by gender and chaperoned overnight. Each room holds 8-14 students and has its own bathroom facilities. All cabins are a short (and beautiful) walk from the dining hall and main building.

IS THIS A FAITH BASED OR POLITICALLY DRIVEN PROGRAM?

NO, politics and religion are NOT part of our curriculum.

WILL THE CAMP SERVE NUT PRODUCTS?

Our camp is a 100% nut free facility.

WHAT ARE MEALS LIKE? CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD?

No food of any kind can be brought onto the camp grounds. But don't worry, our chef is awesome. Gourmet meals and snacks will be provided throughout the Summit, and we are able to meet just about any dietary requirement - whether you're vegan, pescatarian, or have an allergy to a specific shade of purple, we got you covered.

IS TRAVEL INCLUDED?

Participants are responsible for their airfare and the cost of obtaining a passport and/or tourist visa (if applicable).

Roundtrip bussing from the airport to camp is always included.

LegacyBuilder Program:

Upon request, all independently traveling participants will be chartered from Los Angeles International Airport to our camp at Canyon Creek in Lake Hughes (approximately 1.5 hours from the city). Roundtrip bussing from LAX to Camp is included. Students will leave LAX on Thursday afternoon and return to LAX on Monday afternoon. Participants are responsible for their airfare to Los Angeles (LAX) and the cost of obtaining a passport and/or tourist visa (if applicable).

I'M TRAVELING...WHAT DO I DO WHEN I LAND?

You're not alone! In fact, for many participants this is their first time leaving their state, country, or even flying on a plane!

To make things easy and stress free, our team will be easily identifiable at arrivals, ready to welcome you to Toronto or Los Angeles! Our chartered busses leave right from the airport, so you're in good hands every step of the way.

WHAT DATE/TIME SHOULD I BOOK MY FLIGHTS FOR?

We recommend that all participants schedule flights that arrive no later than 3:15PM. Transportation to camp will leave LAX at 4:00pm. Departing flights should be scheduled no earlier than 6:00PM. We will ensure any unaccompanied minors are checked in and safe with their airline.

WILL I EARN SCHOOL CREDIT / COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS?

High School and College level students will receive a Training Certificate following the completion of the GameChanger, TrendSetter or GroundBreaker training program. In addition, High School and College students will earn 10 volunteer hours over the course of the Summit. If your school requires you to complete a certain number of community service hours in order to graduate, please bring your form to the Summit to be signed.

DO I NEED A VISA TO ATTEND?

You may need a visa to attend our Global Student Leadership Summit. International applicants who are based outside of the United States and/or Canada are responsible for obtaining their own passport/visa to travel to the US (Middle School Summit) or Canada (High School & College Summit). Please note that the Count Me In Leadership Summit’s responsibility is limited only to supplying the invitation letter to the event. Count Me In and All It Takes are not affiliated with US or Canadian embassies abroad, and have no ability to influence the embassies’ decisions on applicant visas.  Here's a simple tool to find out what document(s) you need in order to attend the High School or College Summit, hosted in Canada. Also, if you're under the age of 18, the Government of Canada has some additional travel info for you here. For our Middle School program, which is hosted in the United States, you can find visa information here.
